No, it is an antibiotic. It will kill the bacteria that cause your acne, but it isn’t formulated to treat scars. Ask your doctor/dermatologist about microdermabrasion or other treatment options for post-acne scarring.

No, it won’t help to treat acne scars, but it is a good treatment to treat existing acne and to help prevent future acne. A dermatologist can help you treat your acne scars — many options exist: dermabrasion, chemical peels, or laser treatments. The best treatment for you will depend on your skin coloring, complexion, and the type of acne scarring you have.
Whether or not your face can tolerate simultaneous treatment with AcneFree and clindamycin will depend on your skin’s sensitivity. You should be fine since the primary ingredient is hydroquinone. This primarily reduces redness — it doesn’t really treat depression scars or icepick scars, if this is what you have. If it over-irritates your skin, I would stop the AcneFree Scar Fade Erase since I would question its efficacy for anything other than post-acne redness. You will need to continue using the sunscreen provided because the clindamycin will make you skin more prone to sunburn (and will also dry it out some). Good luck!
